There has never been a more exciting time to be an actor as the audience for performance arts continues to grow. With film expanding from the big screen to the small screen, and more recently to the webcast, opportunities for actors has continued to grow during the last ten to fifteen years.

IADT’s Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre program is designed to prepare students for the real world of acting by emphasizing education and providing students with the practical tools they need to practice and enhance their craft.

Students can gain the knowledge to succeed in the fiercely competitive field of acting theory, camera acting, movement, voice, film and television history, performance history, character development, and more. Our instructors are active in the industry, making the courses even more exciting and applicable.

Students who complete the program successfully should be educated in the art, business, and theories of acting.
