IADT’s five-term Recording Arts Technology program is designed for students with a passion for music, sound and sound recording. The program includes training in Recorded Music Production, Post Production Audio for Film & Television, Live Sound Reinforcement, and Broadcast Engineering. Working with Industry professionals in our recording facilities, in lecture as well as smaller lab groups, students can learn theory and gain practical experience to prepare them for careers in the industry.

Students work in the recording studio throughout the program, beginning in the first week of classes, and the final term is project-based. The curriculum is wide-ranging to develop the skills students need to succeed in a fast-paced industry.

Graduates of our Recording Arts Technology program can pursue careers in film, TV, music, radio, commercials, and more.
